Innovating at Scale
Global Business Services Organisation
A large multinational business services organisation recognised that sustaining innovation and long-term growth at scale required stronger strategic alignment across its leadership community.
Operating across highly distributed markets and service environments, the organisation faced the challenge of ensuring that leaders throughout the business shared a coherent understanding of strategic priorities, enterprise direction, and the organisational choices needed for future growth.
The work involved a structured series of strategic alignment and strategic thinking sessions with senior executives, alongside larger-scale leadership engagement activities involving several hundred leaders from across the enterprise.
The aim was to strengthen strategic thinking not only as an executive capability but also as a collective leadership discipline — enabling leaders to think more coherently about the enterprise, challenge assumptions, and align on the capabilities, structures, and operating principles required for the future.
The process also created space for leadership to reflect on the organisation’s strategy, service portfolio, and operating model in light of evolving market conditions and long-term growth ambitions.
Rather than relying on external solutions, the work focused on strengthening the organisation’s internal capability to think strategically, align collectively, and sustain coherence at scale over time.
Start a conversation about your leadership alignment challenge
If strategy is not translating into results, decisions feel slower than they should, execution is inconsistent, or your organisation feels fragmented despite everyone’s best efforts, the underlying issue is often a lack of leadership alignment.
If that sounds familiar, I’d be delighted to start a conversation.
